Welcome to Harvard Medical School, where a vibrant community is shaping the future of education and biomedicine. This is a place where bold ideas are incubated, a place where extraordinary individuals working as teams tackle tough problems with unrelenting passion. In the past year alone, the school has moved in exciting new directions, propelled by the expertise and energy of its faculty, staff and students.
All you have to do to get an interview is to do extremely well on your MCAT (at least a 36, but if you pass 40, the likelihood of an interview is extremely high). To receive an acceptance, a GPA better than 3.6 helps tremendously, although a high MCAT score is valued more than a high GPA. I know a few students with MCAT scores in the low 40’s who got in, yet their GPA was about 3.5. And, everyone who applies has done some research and volunteered, so that really doesn’t factor in the decision.
@techmonster100 that is of course if you can do so
